These renderings are a study before my graduation project. A compact town in which the front door of a house is right in the center of the town and the backyard is in the middle of a big natural landscape.
My first study is a object of 100 x 100 x 100 meter. What are the difficulties
when program is stacked? Can there be landscape on the 12th floor being
connected to landscape in the basement?
Within a big framework / megastucture all city program is established.
The traditional small expansion-pieces of a city are replaced by super
blocks.
The ever expanding two-dimensional town is something I want tot stop.
The places used during the last decades have little cultural and historical
value. In this non-context it is very well possible to start a city well
capable of all what is going to happen in the next millennium.
Traffic and landscape are coming together in these cities. At the junction
/ fly over of these two element a new city develops.
